For the past 10 years we have run The Buxhall Crown Inn, a very successful gastro pub in the heart of Suffolk. We have featured in the Michelin dinning out in pubs guide every year since it was first launched in 2002, the newly published Egon Ronay Guide to pubs and we had the honor of being awarded Suffolk dinning pub of the year in The Good Pub Guide.

We are both very passionate about all aspects of the pub industry and enjoy nothing more than making our customers feel very welcome and filling empty tummies with lots of gorgeous food and drink.

The Hand & Cleaver is a large old pub with lots of beams, open fires and comfy places to sit and relax in, whether just out for a stroll with the dog and a quick pint, a romantic meal for two or a family get together the Hand & Cleaver is the place to be.
